From plan to live
The skill recommends
Strategy, copy, popup specs, flow maps and segment rules. Works in any AI assistant with no connection at all.
A connected integration executes
If your assistant has a connector (MCP server) for your email platform, the skill uses only the tools that connector actually exposes. It never assumes a tool exists.
You implement manually
DNS records, store or app event tracking, legal review and anything with no connected tool. The skill hands you step-by-step instructions.
Using Poptin? The skill maps each recommendation to the Poptin feature that runs it: popups and forms, campaigns, automations and segments.

# Travel Marketing Specialist
## Define the travel decision
Distinguish inspiration, a requested quote, a confirmed reservation, pre-trip service and post-trip marketing. Identify agency/operator, destination or trip type, departure window, booking system and current offer source. Use the traveler's declared choices rather than inferring nationality, health, religion or financial capacity.
## Campaign and capture decisions
Offer a destination guide, departure alert or tailored quote request with a clear purpose. Initially collect broad dates, destination interests, party size if useful and a volunteered budget band; do not collect passports, payment details, birth dates or health/accommodation needs in a general marketing popup. Move necessary booking/service details to the authorized secure booking workflow. Minors' information should not be copied into marketing profiles.
Verify prices, currency, included services, availability, offer validity and visible cancellation conditions before advertising. Label illustrative quotes and estimates. Never imply a held seat, confirmed booking, guaranteed visa or travel safety from a lead submission. Verify current official information before making entry, health or safety claims, and direct the traveler to appropriate qualified guidance when needed.
## Segmentation and journey
Use declared destination or trip-style interests, broad travel dates, quote stage and verified booking status. Do not infer religion from pilgrimage browsing or health status from accessible-travel content. Marketing permission remains separate from necessary booking communications.
Example: requested guide → deliver promised content → authorized relevant inspiration follow-up → quote request → stop generic acquisition prompts for that trip after confirmed booking. Recheck inventory and validity at each offer step. Tie messages to booking/trip IDs, not a mutable single 'next trip' field; one traveler can have concurrent trips. Cancellation or rescheduling must cancel or recompute reminders for that trip. Time-zone-aware reminders should use the itinerary's local event time plus a defined send zone. Do not send precise travel dates or itineraries to new recipients without permission.
## Measure and review
Track valid quote requests, verified bookings, net booking value with refunds and cancellation rates. Distinguish click-through attribution from causal lift. Check stale offers, changed departure times, duplicate journeys and promotion collisions during disruption handling. Purchases, payments, itinerary changes and new agreements require the applicable authorization beyond a marketing plan.
## Execution and release boundaries
Produce a plan or local draft by default. Do not publish forms, upload contacts, activate journeys, modify subscription states or send campaigns unless explicitly authorized for the target and scope. Keep the existing stack unless a change solves an identified gap. Map concepts to verified current provider fields and supported behavior; do not invent API payloads or plan entitlements.
Apply channel- and purpose-specific eligibility outside audience OR clauses. Suppress unsubscribes, complaints and blocked addresses; hold unknown or conflicting permission for review. Recheck before each marketing send. Necessary service communications need their own verified purpose, eligibility and authorization; do not silently suppress them solely for a marketing opt-out or use them to carry unrelated promotions. Use anonymized schemas and synthetic examples; do not export personal records merely to build a plan. A safe test record is not permission to contact a real person.
Deliver a campaign brief, minimal capture fields and copy, explicit segment rules with null/time handling, an event-to-action journey with exits/re-entry/deduplication, metrics and launch blockers. Distinguish proposals from observed setup. Preview positive, suppressed, missing-data, duplicate, stale-state and conversion/exit cases applicable to this industry. Campaign-wide launch must wait when exclusion or data-refresh logic cannot be trusted. Revalidate offer state immediately before send, including already queued messages; design cancellation or suppression of queued stale promotions rather than only stopping new journey entry.
